Leo Taffarelli  was born in Sacile (Pordenone - Italy) in 1937.  He has had a great passion for art since he was a child.  His studies and job did not prevent him from continuing to follow and develop his talent: in fact, he started to be associated with several masters at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.  His first solo exhibition was in 1963 at the Galleria Cima di Conegliano and was then followed by other expositions in several parts of Italy He has received numerous awards including the 2nd Prize Mirandola (Modena, 1978), the 2nd Prize Piancavallo (Pordenone, 1981), the Gold Medal Arona (Novara 1976), Purchase Prize Ravenna (1975), Arona (1976), Montereale (PN 1977) and Moriago (Treviso 1978).  Many local and national newspapers took care of Leo Taffarelli’s art; among the many critics who wrote about him, we want to mention Strumendo, Calvo di Ronco, Granzotto, Romiti, Portalupi and Munari.
